Watercolor Stencilling With Stampin' Up Decorative Masks

Well hello again! I am a stamping addict these days, and I'm sure I am D-R-I-V-I-N-G my hubby C-R-A-Z-Y with my crafts! But ... the kids have been outta school for over a month now & it's seriously my best escape when the going get's crazy! Besides, my girly 5 year old and I love to bond over our crafts these days and one day she may be too cool for these fun times (insert pouty face here as I really hope not)!

My card today is rather girly, and it was a creation in the making. In other words... I did not know what it would look like until I was finished! I like the final product (don't get me wrong I was worried during the entire process that it was going to come out looking like muck)! Saying that, I am really glad it doesn't look like muck, as it is my submission for this week's color challenge over at Pals Paper Arts! I love a good color challenge, as it motivates me to play with colors that I would normally not put together on my own. Click on the icon below if you are as intrigued as I am to see all of the other creations showcasing this stunning combo!

When making this pretty creation, I used the Stampin' Up! Hearts & Stars Decorative Masks Stencil pictured below. With some watercolor paper, a few inks, and a white gel pen, this background actually came together pretty easily!

I hope you enjoyed today's card as much as I enjoyed making it! And thank you so much for stopping by! If you are in Canada and  you are interested in purchasing the products used in the making of today's card just click on the pictures in the supply list below. They will take you to my Canadian online Stampin' Up! supply shop. It's open 24 hours a day!

Ba-bye for now & have fun creating!
