Be Inspired Blog Hop ~ Party Animals

Hi everyone! Welcome to the Be Inspired Design Team Party Animals Blog Hop! You are currently visiting Carolynn Sander's blog. I am a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. If you have been hopping along, you would have just arrived via Maike Ulbrich's blog. Maike is from Germany! She always has fabulous projects (& stunning photography) to share! I hope that all of today's "Party Animal" ideas get you in the party mode! Make sure to click on the next button at the end of this post so that you can carry along and enjoy the rest of the party themed projects! There is a great line up of inspiration to be shared!

If I were to describe to you in one sentence what I thought of the Stampin' Up! Party Animal Suite of coordinating products I would say, "I am in love love love!" I am always in need of birthday cards for our kids, their friends, their cousins etc. This team of products makes it easy to whip up a bunch of cards for the big and small children in your life!

This first card that I am sharing with you today showcases the Party Animal Designer Series Paper (DSP). One of the great features of this DSP is that it is double sided! This makes it easy to mix and match different patterns of paper so that you can create a variety of coordinating cards/combos from one stack. Check out the same card (made with different patterns from this DSP pack) below!

There are many advantages to creating multiple cards that utilize the same design, but at the same time make use of the variety of papers in your DSP stack! Here are just a few!

#1 - You get variety without having to overthink it!
#2 - They all coordinate, which makes for a nice set of cards!
#3 - You could give this set of cards away as it's own gift!
#4 - They are easier to mass produce! Which is great for all of those birthdays coming up!
#5 - You can use up all of your DSP to create many many cards! This means less hoarding of your papercraft supplies & more opportunities to give others your beautiful handmade creations!

So what do you say? Why not try it out? See how many cards you can create from one stack! I bet you will burn through that pack of DSP in no time!

Now for those who want to create more of a wow card, or a "Step Up" card some might call it, why not try out the Balloon Pop Up Thinlet Dies? These dies are also part of this wonderful suite of products, and guess what??? They are on the Stampin' Up! retired list! What does this mean? Well they will no longer be available to purchase after May 31, 2017. The silver lining here is that they are available while supplies last, & Stampin' Up! is now offering them at a discounted rate! I can tell you that I will be keeping mine forever! Yes... I like to hoard my craft supplies! I am guilty! If you check out the Stampin' Up! video tutorial below you will understand why I love mine so much! There is so much you can do with these dies!

Well thank you so much for visiting today! I am always tickled pink when visitors leave nice comments, so please comment away if you wish! The next blog in the hop is Kimberly Van Diepen's! Make sure you click on the next button! Kim is one of my favourite stamper's! You won't want to miss what she has to share with you!
